We are seeking a Junior Mechanic to join our trucking company's team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting our senior mechanics in maintaining and repairing our fleet of trucks and trailers. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is eager to learn and grow in the trucking industry.
Responsibilities:
-Assist senior mechanics with maintenance and repair of trucks and trailers

- Perform basic mechanical repairs, such as changing oil, replacing filters, and performing brake inspections

-Diagnose mechanical issues and recommend solutions to senior mechanics

-Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work completed Follow safety procedures and guidelines at all times.

Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Completion of a vocational or technical training program in mechanics or a related field is preferred

Some experience with basic diesel truck repairs and maintenance tasks

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work in a team environment and follow instructions

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Valid driver's license
