• Develop, modify, test, debug, and implement batch applications using C, SQL, and Linux-based environments.
• Analyze system requirements and translate them into technical specifications and program designs.
• Write and maintain programs of low to moderate complexity, ensuring performance and reliability.
• Support production systems by troubleshooting issues and proposing effective resolution strategies.
• Develop and execute test plans, including regression testing, to validate system functionality.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and testing reports.
• Conduct peer reviews and participate in quality assurance activities to ensure code integrity.
• Work with existing systems to enhance functionality and support ongoing improvements.
• Stay current with industry tools, technologies, and development best practices.

• 3+ years of experience in applications development using C, Linux, and SQL.
• Strong experience writing and maintaining batch processing applications.
• Proficiency in SQL, including embedded SQL in C or batch Java environments, ideally with Oracle databases.
• Hands-on experience with Linux environments and shell scripting.
• Familiarity with the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Experience using IDEs such as Visual Studio Code and debugging tools.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Ability to create clear technical documentation, including design and testing materials.
• Experience with healthcare systems is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Experience designing and executing regression testing strategies is a plus.
