Job Description

Job Overview:

The Field Supervisor reports to the Division manager and is in charge of assisting the division/ area with organization of work, assisting in any overflow or any work needing coverage or supervision, ordering of materials related to on going jobs, and assisting with customer relations.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Support the Division Manager as they manage all field services staff at the divisional level
  • Assist with performance management for field level technical staff
  • Review and approve scopes of work to ensure safety and quality standards are established
  • Ensure service dates and customer commitments are met
  • Coordinate field services labor scheduling with the Division Manager
  • Establish and maintain customer relations with various levels within the customer organization
  • Build and maintain a cohesive and safe working environment
  • Represent Colt with honesty in day-to-day duties
  • Maintain Colt’s values in both action and appearance
  • Capability of planning and overseeing Critical Jobs
  • Regularly lift 50 to 60 lbs on a daily basis
  • Climb up stairs and scaffolding while carrying tools and supplies
  • Wear proper personal protective equipment given the job they are doing, including but not limited to full body gear, breathing air and steel toe boots

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

  • 5+ years of field service experience in industrial service
  • 2+ years of experience supervising a team of more than 2
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization
  • High driven, self-motivated and well organized
  • Mut be able to safely operate a vehicle and make face-to-face customer meetings
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean record
  • Ability to adapt to ever changing schedules and priorities (24 hour emergency service)
  • Ability to pass a drug & alcohol test and background check in compliance with our safety program
  • All management roles are responsible for setting a good example for their staff
