This role sits at the intersection of healthcare operations and technology delivery, leading complex projects that directly support programs serving vulnerable populations. You will oversee the full project lifecycle, ensuring initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with strategic objectives across clients and internal teams. Acting as both a delivery leader and hands-on contributor, you will coordinate cross-functional stakeholders, manage risks, and ensure high-quality execution across multiple workstreams. The role requires strong communication skills and the ability to translate program-level goals into actionable project plans and milestones. You will also engage directly with clients and leadership teams, providing visibility into progress, performance metrics, and delivery outcomes. This is a high-impact position where structured execution and problem-solving help drive meaningful improvements in healthcare technology services.
- Lead and manage medium-sized project teams while contributing directly to execution across complex, multi-workstream programs
- Oversee end-to-end project delivery including planning, scheduling, budgeting, execution, monitoring, and closure
- Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with client expectations and business goals
- Coordinate cross-functional collaboration between client stakeholders, internal teams, and leadership to ensure smooth delivery
- Track, analyze, and report project performance metrics, proactively identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies
- Prepare statements of work (SOWs), ensure stakeholder alignment, and secure approvals for project scope and deliverables
- Support staffing efforts, mentor junior team members, and provide guidance to ensure quality and timely execution
- Ensure consistent communication of project status, updates, and recommendations to senior stakeholders
- 6+ years of experience managing complex projects or programs through full project lifecycle delivery
- 3+ years of experience in Medicaid, Medicare, or healthcare-related project environments preferred
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, with PMP certification or equivalent experience preferred
- Proven ability to manage budgets, timelines, risks, and project governance in structured delivery environments
- Experience translating strategic program objectives into detailed, executable project plans and milestones
- Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring, guiding, or supervising project team members
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage executive-level stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving abilities and comfort working in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
- Proficiency in project management tools and reporting systems
