Driver (Split Shift) in Hendersonville, North Carolina at ASTC - TRAFFIC CONTROL SERVICES INC

American Safety Traffic Control is currently seeking a reliable and safety-focused Driver to transport employees from Asheville and surrounding areas to various job sites. This position plays an important role in ensuring our crews arrive on time and safely each day.

This is a split-shift position, with morning and evening transportation responsibilities. Hours may vary depending on job site demands and contractor schedules.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Safely transport employees to and from job sites in Asheville and surrounding areas
• Maintain a consistent schedule for pick-ups and drop-offs
• Ensure all passengers follow safety requirements during transport
• Communicate with management regarding schedule changes, delays, or job site updates
• Assist with basic coordination of employee transportation needs
• Perform basic vehicle inspections before and after shifts
• Keep company vehicle clean and organized
• Report any vehicle maintenance needs or safety concerns immediately
• Provide occasional support with light tasks at the office or job sites as needed

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Reliable transportation to and from the office or designated pick-up location
• Ability to work early mornings and evenings (split shift)
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Dependable, punctual, and professional attitude
• Ability to pass a drug screen

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous driving experience (work vehicle, delivery, shuttle, etc.)
• Familiarity with Asheville and surrounding areas
• Experience working in construction or job site environments
