  • Design and oversee RWE studies using administrative claims data, EMRs, and other real-world datasets, including protocol development and input into statistical analysis plans.
  • Drive end-to-end execution of RWE projects, ensuring scientific rigor, quality, and timely delivery of insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including medical affairs, epidemiology, HEOR, and clinical development to align evidence generation strategies.
  • Evaluate and curate real-world data sources, including establishing data access plans and managing external data partnerships.
  • Communicate research findings to internal stakeholders, regulatory bodies, HTA agencies, and the broader scientific community.
  • Contribute to peer-reviewed publications and scientific conferences to advance external visibility of RWE findings.
  • Support the development of operational processes and best practices within the RWE function to improve consistency and efficiency.
Requirements:
  • PhD in Epidemiology or a related scientific/quantitative discipline.
  • Extensive experience designing and conducting real-world evidence studies using claims databases, EMRs, or patient-level healthcare data.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare systems, including payer environments and reimbursement structures in the US and globally.
  • Proven ability to lead epidemiological and outcomes research projects in a cross-functional environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience working on large-scale or “big data” analytical platforms.
  • Demonstrated track record of peer-reviewed scientific publications in real-world evidence, epidemiology, or related fields.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to translate complex data into strategic insights.
  • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to develop innovative approaches to evidence generation and product differentiation.
Benefits:
  • Competitive base salary range ($204,000–$306,000 USD) with eligibility for annual bonus and equity incentives
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage
  • 401(k) retirement savings plan with company participation
  • Generous paid time off and flexible vacation policy
  • Equity grants and long-term incentive opportunities depending on role eligibility
  • Remote-first work flexibility within the United States
  • Strong focus on research, innovation, and scientific publication support
  • Career development opportunities within a global biopharma environment
  • Additional wellness and employee support programs.
