Purpose / General Description: The Internal Supply Lead supervises and coordinates manufacturing activities within a designated production area. Responsibilities include assigning work, monitoring production performance, ensuring compliance with company policies and safety regulations, training and mentoring employees, troubleshooting operational issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain efficient production processes. The Lead serves as a key point of contact between production staff, leaders and management, helping to drive quality, efficiency, and team performance.

- Ensure all safety practices and work rules are enforced.
- Schedule the daily workflow through the Heijunka board
- Monitor and ensure Standard Work is strictly followed.
- Review daily metric board data checking for completeness and accuracy & provide coaching as needed & replenish weekly sheets.
- Update metric database with weekly metric data.
- Make Daily Labor Assignments to achieve Heijunka schedule.
- Facilitate Job Skill Training & Verification
- Ensure work instructions are accurate and update as needed.
- Facilitate Order Processing meeting as needed
- Monitor for quality and provide feedback to the team on quality issues.
- Ensure 5S standards are met in areas
- Ensure performance environment is in place:

- Ensure Needed Job Rotation is achieved to keep job skills current when Technicians are verified.
- When problems or changes arise that will interrupt Standard Work:
- Understand the situation and collect the facts.
- Contact support network (if outside help is needed) (Stop and Fix)
- Implement prescribed countermeasures / recovery plan (if possible, within the group)
- Contact Department Manager (if unable to resolve locally)
- On a as needed basis, assemble complex electrical and mechanical systems requiring measurement and alignment per instructions provided in detail drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams and programming parameters; follow standard work instructions, using a variety of hand & power tools.
- Perform and document all quality inspections and testing as required.
- Organize and complete tasks on-time to meet the production schedule requirements.
- Ensure housekeeping, safety & user maintenance of all equipment as required.
- Work in a team and actively contribute to the success of the team.
- Ensure the security of the facility daily
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent (Associate degree is a plus).
- 3-5 years of manufacturing experience in a welding and/or CNC machining environment
- Good communication (English fluency) and organization skills with a positive attitude.
- Must be able to work overtime and Fridays as needed.
- Must be physically able to perform all aspects of the job and be able to lift a minimum of 30lbs multiple times daily.
- Proficient in basic computer applications and manufacturing documentation systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
- Experience with production scheduling, workflow coordination, and meeting production targets.
