- Perform LiDAR swath calibration, alignment adjustment, and registration activities for airborne, mobile, terrestrial, and UAV datasets.
- Process and extract LiDAR data from raw sensor formats while ensuring compliance with rigorous quality and accuracy standards.
- Conduct trajectory processing and support aerial acquisition workflows, GPS ground survey integration, and bathymetric calibration activities.
- Execute comprehensive QA/QC reviews on processed point cloud datasets, validating density, spatial distribution, overlap, and vertical/horizontal accuracy.
- Analyze and troubleshoot data inconsistencies, noise, gaps, and calibration errors across large-scale geospatial projects.
- Create and maintain digital mapping products, elevation models, GIS databases, and remote sensing deliverables using industry-standard software platforms.
- Develop scripts, macros, and automated workflows to improve processing efficiency across GIS and LiDAR environments.
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and findings while collaborating closely with project managers and multidisciplinary technical teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Geography, GIS, Remote Sensing, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in GIS, remote sensing, or LiDAR processing environments.
- Strong expertise in LiDAR calibration, swath alignment, data extraction, and elevation model generation/manipulation.
- Hands-on experience with industry-standard software such as TerraSolid, Bayesmap StripAlign, RiProcess, Optech LMS, Teledyne CARIS, or GeoCue True View EVO.
- Familiarity with airborne trajectory processing tools such as Applanix PosPac MMS or NovAtel Inertial Explorer.
- Deep understanding of LiDAR error sources, point cloud analysis, and geospatial quality assurance methodologies.
- Proficiency with ESRI software platforms and strong capabilities in scripting, modeling, or macro development.
- Excellent analytical, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with mobile, terrestrial, UAV, or bathymetric LiDAR processing is considered a strong advantage.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced technical consulting environment.
