This role plays a key part in shaping and managing employee benefits programs that directly impact workforce well-being and engagement. You will oversee the administration, compliance, and continuous improvement of a broad range of benefits offerings, ensuring accuracy, competitiveness, and regulatory alignment. Working as a subject matter expert, you will support employees, leadership, and external vendors in navigating complex benefits questions and processes. The position involves strong analytical work, including evaluating benefits utilization data and identifying opportunities for cost optimization and program enhancement. You will also contribute to critical initiatives such as open enrollment, audits, and system or plan transitions. Collaboration is central, as you will partner with HR, finance, and external providers to ensure seamless execution. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented benefits professional who thrives in a structured yet dynamic environment.

Accountabilities:

Manage and optimize employee benefits programs while ensuring compliance, accuracy, and effective administration across all benefit offerings.

  • Administer health, dental, vision, life, disability, retirement, and other employee benefits programs.
  • Ensure compliance with ERISA, COBRA, ACA, HIPAA, and FMLA regulations.
  • Analyze benefits utilization data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and program improvements.
  • Manage relationships with vendors, brokers, and external partners to ensure service quality and alignment with contracts.
  • Support employees by resolving complex benefits inquiries and improving benefits communication and education.
  • Lead or support key initiatives such as open enrollment, audits, plan changes, and system updates.
  • Prepare compliance reports, conduct audits, and support billing reconciliation and documentation accuracy.
Requirements:

Experienced benefits professional with strong analytical, regulatory, and communication skills, capable of managing complex programs and stakeholder relationships.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in employee benefits administration, including at least 3 years as a Benefits Analyst.
  • Strong knowledge of employee benefits programs and regulations (ERISA, COBRA, ACA, HIPAA, FMLA).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with HRIS systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and improve processes.
