What You’ll Do
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety and ownership. You’ll be the go-to person for ensuring donations are processed accurately, donors are appreciated quickly, and our data stays clean and reliable.
Keep Our Giving Engine Running Smoothly
Process donations from a variety of sources (online, checks, stock transfers, DAFs, recurring gifts, and more)
Maintain accurate donor records and ensure data integrity in our CRM
Create daily deposits and work closely with Finance to reconcile and report gift activity
Manage online giving transactions and follow up on issues as needed
Deliver an Outstanding Donor Experience
Ensure timely, meaningful acknowledgment and recognition of every gift
Respond to donor inquiries via phone, email, and mail with professionalism and care
Support tribute gifts, matching gifts, and pledge tracking to ensure every donor feels valued
Be a Champion of Data Quality
Maintain clean, organized records—researching and resolving duplicates
Support reporting needs across teams by generating donor and gift reports
Learn and serve as a backup resource for CRM-related functions
Support Fundraising & Collaboration
Partner with fundraisers, program staff, and finance to clarify donor intent and gift details
Assist with data needs for events and fundraising initiatives
Flag key donor activity to the appropriate team members to support relationship-building
Additional Contributions
Coordinate alumni brick orders and occasional in-kind (GIK) donations
Help refine processes that improve efficiency and donor stewardship
Jump in on special projects and tasks as needed

Requirements:Knowledge/Required Skills/Abilities (Core Competencies)
- Must be detail oriented.
- Must have basic accounting skills.
- Must be customer service oriented and possess a willingness to represent the agency to the public.
- Must have strong written, verbal, and organizational skills with the ability to take initiative and execute the completion of all projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to operate and collaborate across multiple teams.
- Must be able to solve problems creatively and adapt to changing priorities and demands.
- Must also be adept at Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of experience in related field.
- Salesforce & Apsona experience is preferred.
- Nonprofit experience is ideal but not required.
- Gift processing experience preferred.
- Must have experience in data entry and/or database coordination.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and be insurable by agency insurance carrier.
- Must submit to and pass pre-employment checks, criminal records check and DMV/MVR check.
