In this role, you will manage and grow high-value institutional client relationships within the fast-evolving digital asset and Web3 ecosystem. You will act as a key strategic partner for institutional investors such as hedge funds, asset managers, quantitative trading firms, and family offices. The position focuses on driving asset inflows, trading activity, and long-term client engagement across a dynamic crypto trading environment. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building trusted relationships with senior decision-makers, and delivering tailored product solutions. Working in a high-performance, global setting, you will collaborate closely with internal product, compliance, and risk teams to support complex client needs. This role requires strong market understanding, commercial acumen, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, KPI-driven environment.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing institutional client relationships, driving business growth, and ensuring strong client engagement across the full lifecycle.
- Build and expand a portfolio of high-value institutional clients, including asset managers, trading firms, and family offices, while proactively generating new leads through networking, referrals, and industry events.
- Manage end-to-end client relationships by understanding trading strategies, capital structures, and product needs, and delivering tailored solutions to maximize engagement and retention.
- Own key performance indicators such as AUM growth, trading volume, and revenue contribution, ensuring consistent achievement of monthly and quarterly targets.
- Provide consultative support across a full suite of trading and investment products, including spot, derivatives, and structured offerings, aligned with client objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams including product, risk, compliance, and operations to design and deliver customized institutional solutions.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity, sharing insights internally to support product and business strategy improvements.
The ideal candidate has strong experience in institutional client management within the crypto or financial services industry, combined with excellent communication and execution skills.
- 2+ years of experience in Web3, crypto exchanges, financial markets, or institutional client-facing roles.
- Strong understanding of financial products, trading strategies, derivatives, and risk-return concepts.
- Proven ability to acquire, manage, and grow high-value client relationships in a KPI-driven environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills across global and multicultural environments.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure setting with frequent client interaction and travel.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to use data to track performance and drive decisions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related fields is preferred.
- Fluency in English; additional languages such as Mandarin are considered a strong advantage.
