Job Summary:

We are seeking a Refrigeration Mechanic to join our dynamic team and gain hands-on experience working with R744 refrigeration systems alongside our assembly technicians in a warehouse environment. This role focuses on the fabrication and assembly of R744 refrigeration racks, including extensive brazing, piping work, and system assembly support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform brazing of copper refrigeration piping systems

• This is a full-time in-house position with the possibility of some periodic travel opportunities

• Test, diagnose, repair, and maintain industrial refrigeration and CO₂ systems

• Primary and secondary roles supporting the installation of new systems

• Follow all company safety procedures and contribute to a culture of safety and quality

• Complete work orders, service reports, and documentation accurately and efficiently

• Participate in the development and review of product documentation

• Collaborate with the engineering and service teams to solve complex technical issues

• Receive training on the assembly and servicing of our R744 refrigeration product lines

Qualifications and Skills:

• Red Seal Certificate of Qualification in the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic (asset)

• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License

• Valid Gas Fitter Class A License (asset)

• Experience with commercial/industrial refrigeration and HVAC equipment

• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills

• Excellent communication and customer service abilities

• Able to work independently and as part of a team

• Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills

• Physically capable of performing all duties required for the role
