Job Summary:
We are seeking a Refrigeration Mechanic to join our dynamic team and gain hands-on experience working with R744 refrigeration systems alongside our assembly technicians in a warehouse environment. This role offers exceptional opportunities for career growth and professional development, making it ideal for driven individuals looking to expand their skills in a cutting-edge environment. This role focuses on the fabrication and assembly of R744 refrigeration racks, including extensive brazing, piping work, and system assembly support.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform brazing of copper refrigeration piping systems
This is a full-time in-house position with the possibility of some periodic travel opportunities
Test, diagnose, repair, and maintain industrial refrigeration and CO₂ systems
Primary and secondary roles supporting the installation of new systems
Follow all company safety procedures and contribute to a culture of safety and quality
Complete work orders, service reports, and documentation accurately and efficiently
Participate in the development and review of product documentation
Collaborate with the engineering and service teams to solve complex technical issues
Receive training on the assembly and servicing of our R744 refrigeration product lines
Qualifications and Skills:
Red Seal Certificate of Qualification in the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic (asset)
Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
Valid Gas Fitter Class A License (asset)
Experience with commercial/industrial refrigeration and HVAC equipment
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills
Physically capable of performing all duties required for the role
Valid passport required
