- Design, implement, and optimize scalable cloud and hybrid infrastructure solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure and enterprise-grade on-premises technologies.
- Architect highly available, secure, and disaster recovery-ready environments supporting mission-critical enterprise applications.
- Lead the deployment and administration of Kubernetes environments, including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), container orchestration, and cloud-native infrastructure operations.
- Implement secure Azure networking solutions including VNets, VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute, Azure Firewall, NSGs, Application Gateway/WAF, and load balancing technologies.
- Manage enterprise Linux and Windows environments, hybrid identity integrations, Active Directory, and Entra ID administration.
- Drive infrastructure automation initiatives using Terraform, scripting languages, and Infrastructure-as-Code methodologies.
- Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to support CI/CD pipelines, cloud-native deployments, and operational improvements.
- Provide advanced L3 support, root cause analysis, lifecycle management, monitoring, capacity planning, and infrastructure optimization across cloud, networking, and storage platforms.
- Participate in governance, disaster recovery testing, compliance initiatives, audits, and after-hours support rotations when required.
- 9+ years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise cloud infrastructure environments.
- Strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft Azure services including Azure Virtual Machines, AKS, Azure Storage, Virtual Networks, Azure Firewall, Azure Monitor, Azure Backup, Key Vault, Entra ID, and Site Recovery.
- Advanced experience supporting hybrid cloud and hybrid identity environments in enterprise production settings.
- Deep Linux systems administration expertise alongside strong experience with Windows server environments.
- Extensive knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, container orchestration, and cloud-native architecture design.
- Experience deploying, upgrading, troubleshooting, and maintaining Kubernetes ecosystems including Helm, RBAC, ingress controllers, persistent storage, cluster networking, and monitoring integrations.
- Proficiency with automation and scripting tools such as Terraform, PowerShell, Bash, Python, ARM Templates, or Bicep.
- Experience with CI/CD and DevOps technologies including Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Puppet, or Ansible.
- Strong understanding of networking technologies including DNS, VPNs, routing, firewalls, reverse proxies, NGINX, and HAProxy.
- Familiarity with infrastructure security best practices aligned with CIS and NIST frameworks.
- Multi-cloud experience with AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform is strongly preferred.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work independently in fast-paced environments.
- Preferred certifications include Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Administrator Associate, CKA, CKAD, and AWS Solutions Architect certifications.
