This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Task Order Manager - EHR in United States.

This role sits at the center of large-scale federal Electronic Health Record (EHR) modernization efforts, ensuring that complex task orders are effectively planned, executed, and delivered within scope, schedule, and budget.
You will work closely with federal program leadership, internal PMO teams, and external partners to coordinate activities across multiple stakeholders in a highly regulated environment.
The position requires strong program and task order management capabilities, with responsibility for overseeing deliverables across development and operational initiatives.
You will play a key role in translating program requirements into actionable execution plans while ensuring alignment across technical and business teams.
A strong emphasis is placed on governance, stakeholder engagement, and disciplined delivery management in fast-paced federal healthcare programs.
This is a highly collaborative role where attention to detail and structured execution directly impact mission-critical healthcare systems.
You will also contribute to continuous improvement in processes, reporting, and delivery oversight across multiple workstreams.

Accountabilities:
  • Manage the full lifecycle of task orders under a large federal IDIQ contract, ensuring delivery is completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Coordinate closely with federal customer PMO, internal program teams, and external vendors to align execution activities and delivery expectations.
  • Provide planning, scheduling, and integration support for multiple development efforts ranging from small enhancements to complex system initiatives.
  • Oversee task order performance, including cost, schedule, scope, and compliance management across assigned project teams.
  • Supervise and guide project teams to ensure deliverables are completed according to established timelines and quality standards.
  • Conduct ongoing stakeholder engagement, participate in governance reviews, and communicate progress, risks, and dependencies to leadership.
  • Support change control processes, including backlog management, scope adjustments, and impact analysis across active task orders.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts throughout the project lifecycle to ensure effective execution and delivery alignment.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical, clinical, or related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in project management or task order management within complex, large-scale programs.
  • Strong experience managing cost, schedule, scope, and contract compliance in structured delivery environments.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio for planning and reporting activities.
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement and managing relationships across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Solid understanding of system development lifecycle methodologies and project management best practices.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in fast-paced, collaborative environments with shifting deadlines.
  • Experience with change control processes, including backlog management and impact analysis.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Level 5 clearance (U.S. residency requirement applies).
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% as required by program needs.
  • PMP certification and experience with EHR systems (such as clinical, pharmacy, or health IT platforms) are highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Agile tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, TFS) and healthcare environments such as VA or Indian Health Service is a plus.
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary range ($129,813 – $149,500, based on experience and location)
  • Remote-first work arrangement with flexible scheduling options
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance plans
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions
  • Paid vacation, sick leave, personal days, and 10 paid holidays annually
  • Paid parental leave and additional family support programs
  • Short-term and long-term disability, life, and supplemental insurance options
  • Professional development support, including training, certifications, and career mobility programs
  • Access to cutting-edge technology environments in federal healthcare programs
  • Inclusive workplace with strong emphasis on work-life balance and employee well-being
