Senior Staff Consultant, SAP SolMan in India at Jobgether

This role sits at the intersection of SAP architecture, solution governance, and modern AI-augmented enterprise delivery. You will be responsible for designing, governing, and optimizing SAP landscapes with a strong focus on SAP Solution Manager and ChaRM processes across complex enterprise environments. The position requires deep expertise in SAP ECC and integration frameworks, along with the ability to guide end-to-end solution design and release governance. You will work closely with cross-functional SAP and non-SAP teams to ensure scalable, secure, and efficient system architecture. A key aspect of this role involves leveraging emerging AI tools and LLM-based frameworks to enhance SAP delivery, automation, and lifecycle management. This is a high-impact consulting role where architecture decisions directly influence enterprise-wide SAP transformation and modernization initiatives.

• Lead end-to-end SAP Solution Manager (SolMan 7.2) and ChaRM processes including CR management, transport workflows, and release governance across multi-landscape environments
• Design and define SAP solution architecture, ensuring alignment with functional and non-functional requirements
• Provide architectural guidance across SAP modules (FI/CO, MM, SD, P2P) and integration with non-SAP systems using IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, PI/PO, and APIs
• Review and validate technical designs, HLDs, LLDs, and integration approaches across SAP and enterprise platforms
• Define and enforce transport management, release strategies, and governance frameworks aligned with enterprise architecture standards
• Integrate AI tools and agentic frameworks (e.g., SAP Joule, Copilot, LangChain) into SAP delivery and ChaRM workflows
• Support DevOps collaboration, backlog optimization, and continuous improvement of delivery cycles and processes
• Guide modernization initiatives including S/4HANA readiness, ABAP optimization, and technical debt reduction
• Participate in UAT, production rollouts, proof of concepts, and complex issue resolution

Requirements:

• 8+ years of overall SAP experience with at least 3 years in an architect or lead consultant role
• Strong hands-on expertise in SAP Solution Manager (SolMan 7.2) and SAP ChaRM
• Deep knowledge of SAP ECC 6 / EHP8 architecture, ABAP standards, and transport management processes
• Strong experience in SAP module integration and enterprise system interfacing (IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs, PI/PO, APIs)
• Proven ability in solution architecture, landscape design, and documentation of HLDs/LLDs
• Hands-on exposure to AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, or SAP Joule
• Familiarity with LLM frameworks (LangChain, LiteLLM, LlamaIndex), RAG pipelines, and vector databases
• Experience integrating AI into software delivery for code generation, testing, documentation, and review automation
• Knowledge of SAP security, authorization design, and GRC integration
• Exposure to S/4HANA migration, SAP BTP, CAP/RAP, and Fiori/UI5 is a strong advantage
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and governance capabilities
• SAP or TOGAF certification preferred
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
