Job Description
Bazaarvoice is looking for an highly motivated and talented sales professional to lead our Strategic Accounts team comprised of our most experienced salespeople focussed on growing our largest customers in the region. You have to be the type of person that has strong commercial acumen, craves a challenge, can adapt quickly and is unafraid to constantly push yourself outside your comfort zone.
We are looking for someone with a minimum of 2 years first line sales leadership experience in complex renewals and upsells within large Global organisations. You must be a competent and inspirational people manager who can guide a portfolio of our most strategic clients and own the entire renewal and sales process from start to finish to ensure achievement of business revenue metrics. Experience in being the lead in a team selling environment with cross functional and regional integration to drive customer and business outcomes is essential. The ideal candidate will be someone with a strong record of achievement within software as a service.
- Run a high-impact, cross-functional team on your strategy, including territory management, account planning and generating pipeline on a continuous basis.
- Sell high-ROI software solutions to C level stakeholders, navigating complex sales cycles, building consensus across multiple business units and successfully driving sales processes to close.
- Manage a team on all commercial aspects of the relationship, while partnering with Client Success to ensure the client is successful with all Bazaarvoice products to ultimately retain and grow the Bazaarvoice relationship.
- Identify and build opportunities to grow your team's business and apply a strategic, detail-oriented approach, with a clear demand generation plan and process in partnership with the Marketing and SDR organisations
- Partner with internal stakeholders and the client to deliver a joint strategic plan to enable the client to achieve programme success which delivers against their strategic objectives.
- Embrace the channel, working with partners to gain a seat at the executive table of our clients and drive up our value in their organisation as a critical business partner.
- 5+ years relative experience in software, SaaS, or MarTech
- Ability to coach on identifying target accounts, appropriate contacts within that account, and formulate strategies to both renew and generate incremental revenue
- Ability to lead and coach a team on generating, qualifying, and executing on renewals and opportunities in order to exceed revenue targets
- Ability to build a trusted and long relationships - including building new partner relationships
- A strong understanding of business practices, industry trends, and competitors
- Adaptability to change, proactive problem solving, growth mindset
- Proven ability to articulate a vision that resonates with the customer and demonstrates value, whilst matching that to true customer needs our solutions can answer
