Pilgrim's Market is seeking a dedicated Bakery Packager to join our team. This position will focus on efficiently packaging a variety of baked goods, stocking the bakery display, and assisting with prep work. The Bakery Packager will play a key role in maintaining the quality and presentation of our products while ensuring the smooth operation of our bakery section. • Packaging Baked Goods: Package a variety of baked goods, including breads, pastries, cookies, and other treats, ensuring freshness, proper presentation, and labeling for sale.
• Stocking & Display Maintenance: Restock the bakery display throughout the day, keeping the retail area organized, appealing, and fully stocked.
• Prep Work: Assist with basic bakery prep tasks such as portioning dough, preparing ingredients, and other supporting duties to help the baking team stay on track.
• Product Handling: Ensure all baked goods are handled with care to maintain quality, appearance, and hygiene standards.
• Cleanliness & Organization: Maintain a clean work area, including washing dishes, wiping down surfaces, and assisting with other general cleanliness duties in the bakery.
• Collaboration: Work effectively as part of the bakery team, helping to meet daily production goals and ensure excellent customer service.

• Prior Experience: Previous experience in a bakery, kitchen, or food service setting is preferred but not required.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure quality packaging and presentation of baked goods.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Team Player: Positive attitude with a willingness to collaborate and contribute to a team-oriented environment.
• Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Food Safety Awareness: Basic understanding of food safety practices, with the ability to follow food safety guidelines and maintain sanitation standards.
• Efficiency: Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely packaging and stocking of products.
