Who you are:
The Program Leader Network Manager leads the recruitment, development, engagement, and operational management of CIEE's Program Leader network, which supports the success of Global Navigator High School Summer Abroad programs. This role oversees the full Program Leader lifecycle—including workforce planning, recruitment, selection, onboarding, training, travel coordination, evaluation, retention, and alumni engagement—while ensuring the systems, processes, and partnerships necessary to support program growth and exceptional student experiences. As the leader of the Program Leader function, the Manager supervises and develops Program Leader Network Coordinator, collaborates closely with Sales, Human Resources, IT, and International Staff, and cultivates strong relationships with educators, schools, alumni, and Program Leaders to increase awareness of CIEE programs and support student recruitment goals. The ideal candidate is a strategic relationship-builder and operational leader who excels at talent development, process improvement, community engagement, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
What you’ll do:
- Team Leadership & Staff Development: Supervise, coach, and develop Program Leader Network Coordinator; establish priorities, manage workloads, provide performance feedback, and contribute to workforce planning as the team grows.
- Program Leader Recruitment & Workforce Planning: Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract qualified Program Leaders; oversee candidate sourcing, application review, interviews, selection processes, and annual staffing plans in partnership with International Staff and Human Resources.
- Onboarding, Training & Readiness: Ensure Program Leaders are effectively onboarded and prepared for success through virtual training meetings, Canvas training course(s), communications, and readiness tracking.
- Travel & Staffing Operations: Oversee Program Leader and chaperone travel planning, flight coordination, staffing assignments, and logistical processes in collaboration with Global Navigator Leadership, travel partners and in-country staff to support successful program delivery.
- Network Engagement & Retention: Build and sustain an engaged community of current and former Program Leaders through strategic communications, recognition initiatives, referral programs, professional development opportunities, and alumni engagement efforts.
- Partnership Development & Student Recruitment Support: Partner with Sales and other stakeholders to leverage the Program Leader network as a channel for student recruitment, program promotion, referral generation, and relationship-building with educators and schools.
- Program Evaluation & Continuous Improvement: Lead Program Leader evaluation processes, survey administration, performance tracking, and feedback analysis to identify opportunities for program enhancements and improved participant experiences.
- Data, Systems & Reporting: Oversee Salesforce and related systems to ensure data integrity, accurate reporting, effective communication workflows, and informed decision-making across the Program Leader function.
What you’ll bring:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, education, international education, business, communications, marketing, or a related field.
- A minimum of 4+ years of professional experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, human resources, program management, relationship management, education, sales, or a related field.
- Experience recruiting, onboarding, training, and developing staff, volunteers, or program participants; prior supervisory experience preferred.
- Demonstrated success building and maintaining relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, including experience creating and maintaining project trackers, calendars, workflows, and processes to ensure deadlines are met.
- Ability to proactively identify upcoming needs, communicate timelines, and keep recruitment, onboarding, and operational activities on track independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a variety of audiences.
- Experience working with CRM, applicant tracking, or database systems; Salesforce experience preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Ability and willingness to work occasional evenings, weekends, and travel as needed.
