Job Summary: The Sr. Commercial & Community Business Development Executive is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities for integrated security solutions within the commercial and community sectors. This role is ideal for a results-driven sales professional who excels at building relationships, assessing client needs, and delivering customized security solutions that create long-term value.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand SafeTouch Security’s presence within commercial and community markets, including commercial properties, residential developments, municipalities, public organizations, and HOAs.
- Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities with construction firms, property management companies, local businesses, residential communities, and other target accounts.
- Manage the full sales lifecycle, including prospecting, needs assessment, solution design, proposal development, contract negotiation, and closing.
- Conduct comprehensive client assessments to identify security requirements and recommend tailored integrated security solutions, including surveillance, access control, alarm, and related systems.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive customer satisfaction, retention, repeat business, and referrals. Serve as a trusted advisor throughout the customer lifecycle.
- Meet or exceed established sales goals through new business acquisition and expansion of existing accounts.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and pricing quotations that clearly communicate solution value and return on investment.
- Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to identify emerging opportunities and refine sales strategies.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of sales activity, pipeline status, forecasts, and customer interactions within CRM systems.
- Collaborate with internal departments, vendors, and operational teams to ensure successful project implementation and customer satisfaction.
- Represent SafeTouch Security at industry events, networking functions, and trade associations to strengthen market presence and generate leads.
- Perform additional duties as required to support evolving business needs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Minimum of five (5) years of successful business development or sales experience in the commercial and community vertical.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn new systems and applications. Experience with integrated security systems, including surveillance, access control, alarms, and related technologies, is preferred.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms; Salesforce experience preferred.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional service to both internal and external customers.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Pass a drug screen and background check.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, with an insurable driving record and proof of automobile liability and property damage coverage (if applicable).
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions, navigating uneven or slippery surfaces, stairs, and other site conditions safely.
- Stand, walk, sit at a desk, and move equipment or materials up to 25 pounds as needed.
- Observe details at close range, take notes, handle products, operate technology, and present information clearly.
- Read documents and presentations on electronic devices or in hard copy, and exchange accurate information in person, by phone, in writing, or electronically.
- Communicate clearly and articulately for presentations, interpersonal interactions, and client engagements.
- Drive to client sites or other business locations as required.
- Bend, kneel, crouch, and reach to take counts, measurements, or perform other tasks safely.
Job Type: Full-time, exempt
Work Location: Remote within the West Palm Beach area and reasonable commuting distance to a major airport
Work Hours/Availability: Core business hours of 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Monday through Friday, and as needed to fulfill job responsibilities.
Travel: Approximately 25%
