LSG Sky Chefs with over 75 years of Catering history is hiring immediately for Full-time team players to prepare products for our Airlines, we are the world's leading provider of end-to-end airline products and services with fast growing footprint in Convenience Retail and Subscription Food Service.

Description of Duties

Responsible for preparing and assembling raw and/or cooked food items in accordance with specifications and USDA/FDA/HACCP standards. Required to understand and follow recipes, yields and requisition process. Performs job duties in a timely manner to ensure smooth and efficient production flow. Cleans and cuts products in accordance with established Company and Customer procedures such as detailed weight, size and shape. Will be required to use slicers, mixers, grinders, food processors, and other manual equipment. Keeps kitchen and work areas clean, sanitary, and well maintained. Maintains proper temperatures of all food products. Assumes other related duties as required or assigned. Keep production areas in compliance with quality and food safety standards set by HACCP, FDA, USDA, HALAL, Kosher (El-AL) and customers requirements.

• Must have good organizational skills and adaptable to frequent changes in specification and recipe

• Must be able to work with minimum supervision

• Must be accurate, organized, thorough and have attention to detail

• Must be able to use fingers & hands to handle equipment

• Must be flexible and have the ability to react to changing priorities

• Must have the ability to push in excess of 70lbs and lift up to 30lbs

• Must be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

• Must possess strong mathematical skills

• Must be flexible to work in a 24/7 environment which includes nights, weekend, holidays subject to change due to shift bidding.

Additional eligibility requirements and details:

• This is a Union Position- must be willing to pay union dues after 14 days
• Must be available to work a full-time position, including Weekends and Holidays as needed
• Must be able to complete the application/orientation process in English
• Ability to lift 25+ pounds occasionally, 50+ pounds frequently & 10+ pounds consistently. Bend / stoop & twist repeatedly & stand for 8 12 hours a day
