Job Summary

Our large oil and gas company in Fort McMurray is currently recruiting an Heavy Equipment Operator / Class 1 Driver for a contract position with a contract review date of December 2019 . Scheduled Shift is 6 on / 6 off, 12 hours per day.

This position is located in Fort McMurray, AB and local candidates are preferred. Non-local candidates will be considered, but must be willing to secure their own accommodations, as there is no camp, LOA, or accommodation allowance provided.

DESCRIPTION:

Operate Zoom boom, forklift, Flat deck trucks etc. To support our maintenance and turnarounds throughout the year at site and Base plant.

Moving and loading pallets of materials, pipe spools and various plant parts using zoom boom and forklift

Loading AWPs, zoom booms skid steers and light vehicles onto tilt deck trailers for transport on site or between sites.

Picking up and delivering parts for scheduled outages.

REQUIREMENTS:

Class 1 with 3 years experience

Valid Zoom boom/Forklift tickets

Fall Protection (OSSA)

Aerial Work Platform

Load securement

Valid Drivers license with a good driving record

Successfully pass a criminal background check

This position is classified as safety sensitive, therefore you must also be able to pass a drug & alcohol test

Possession of or eligible to obtain a passport
