This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Oracle Implementation Consultant (OPERA PMS Specialist) based in India.

This role offers an exciting opportunity for experienced hospitality professionals to transition into enterprise technology consulting.
You will leverage your hands-on hotel operations expertise to support the implementation of a leading property management system.
The position combines hospitality knowledge, technical deployment, data migration, and user training responsibilities.
You will work directly with premium hotel properties, supporting successful system transformations and operational improvements.
The role provides extensive exposure to digital transformation projects within the hospitality technology space.

Accountabilities:

As an Oracle Implementation Consultant, you will support the deployment, migration, and adoption of a cloud-based property management system by combining your hospitality operations experience with implementation expertise.

  • Lead data review and preparation activities, including auditing guest profiles, reservations, routing codes, and financial records before migration.
  • Perform data cleansing activities to identify and resolve duplicate, outdated, or inaccurate records within existing systems.
  • Support secure data extraction, mapping, and migration from legacy property management environments into the new cloud platform.
  • Travel to hotel properties across India to manage live deployment activities and go-live support.
  • Act as an on-site subject matter expert during system transitions, ensuring smooth adoption by hotel teams.
  • Train front desk teams, night auditors, and management staff on new workflows and system capabilities.
  • Provide guidance on operational processes, system usage, and best practices during implementation phases.
  • Collaborate with project teams and hotel stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure successful deployments.
  • Maintain high standards of data accuracy, communication, and customer support throughout implementation projects.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a hospitality operations professional with strong experience using Oracle OPERA PMS and a desire to transition into technology implementation consulting.

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in hotel operations, such as Front Desk Manager, Duty Manager, Night Auditor, or similar leadership roles.
  • Experience working in premium 4-star or 5-star hotel environments.
  • Expert-level daily user experience with Oracle OPERA V5 Property Management System.
  • Strong understanding of OPERA database structures, including guest profiles, reservations, rates, packages, and financial records.
  • Ability to analyze and maintain data integrity during system migration activities.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify data inconsistencies.
  • Excellent English communication skills with the ability to train and support hotel teams during high-pressure transitions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and confidence working directly with clients and operational teams.
  • Willingness and availability to travel extensively across India for property deployments.
  • Interest in developing technical consulting skills within the hospitality technology sector.
