  • Prepare and review financial analyses, including budget variance reporting and key account reconciliations, to support executive decision-making.
  • Serve as the primary finance liaison with the parent organization, coordinating financial reporting, regular stakeholder meetings, and ongoing collaboration.
  • Lead the year-end audit process by managing relationships with external auditors and ensuring the timely delivery of all required documentation.
  • Oversee corporate tax reporting in partnership with external advisors while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and reporting standards.

  • Deliver ad hoc financial reporting and strategic analysis to support business planning and executive initiatives.
Requirements:

  • CPA designation or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting, preferably within asset management, investment funds, or financial services.
  • Strong experience leading monthly financial reporting, financial close processes, and statutory reporting.
  • Proven experience managing external audits, corporate tax processes, and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong understanding of IFRS and/or US GAAP, financial controls, and governance best practices.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing and developing finance teams.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities, with confidence working across executive and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment while maintaining a high level of ownership and accountability.
Benefits:
  • Competitive annual salary ranging from CAD $150,000 to $180,000.
  • Eligibility for a discretionary bonus program.
  • Fully remote, results-oriented work environment.
  • Unlimited vacation policy.
  • Supportive parental leave program.
  • Birthday leave to celebrate your special day.
  • Opportunity to work in a fast-growing and innovative industry.
  • Annual company offsites to foster collaboration and team connection.
  • Collaborative culture that values ownership, continuous improvement, and teamwork.
  • Temporary full-time contract with an expected duration through January 2028, providing long-term project continuity.
