Auto Shop MAINTENANCE & CLEANER in Oneida, New York at Oneida Any AM LLC

Summary - Maintains a safe and clean working environment for all our dealership employees and customers.

Essential Duties

• Cleans the service area of the dealership as instructed by management.
• Performs routine building maintenance in such a manner as to minimize interruption of customers or employees.
• Washes all windows, glass doors, and glass panels throughout the service area.
• Sweeps technician stalls, and the service department
• Cleans driveway and sidewalks, removing snow and debris as necessary.
• Cleans forklift and power equipment.
• Empties and cleans all trash receptacles, inside and outside.
• Removes all debris from the lot.
• Maintains yard equipment and cleaning supplies.
• Drains and disposes of used oil filters properly.
• Removes any old scrap parts from the shop after checking with the manager.
• Returns cores to the storage area.
• Assists technicians with oil and water spills and with emptying drain tubs.
• Understands and complies with OSHA Right-to-Know and other federal, state, and local regulations.
• Uses proper eye, hand, and body protection when using products that require protection.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• Good time management skills.
• Use and comply with all safety rules in all aspects of the position
• Ability to take direction from the Department Manager.
• Ability to work in a team and coordinate work functions.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
• May require occasional driving of vehicles.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must have a flexible schedule
• Must be able to be on your feet for prolonged periods of time.
• An applicant must pass a drug test.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License and maintain a clean driving record
• Must be 18 years of age or older and be authorized to work in the U.S.

Job Details:

Job Type: Full-time Hourly

Pay: $20 - $22 per hour

Schedule: 8-hour shift

Workweek: Monday through Friday

Work Location: In person
