Supplier Management Engineer in Itasca, Illinois at Organ Recovery Systems Inc.

Organ Recovery Systems (ORS) is seeking a Supplier Management Engineer to drive supplier performance, manufacturing readiness, and quality excellence across our external manufacturing network.

In this role, you will serve as the primary liaison between ORS and contract manufacturers, ensuring suppliers meet expectations for quality, delivery, cost, and compliance. You'll partner closely with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, R&D, and Supply Chain teams to support product launches, resolve manufacturing issues, lead process improvements, and drive supplier performance.

What You'll Do:

• Manage supplier and contract manufacturer relationships.
• Drive supplier quality, delivery, and cost performance improvements.
• Lead root cause investigations, CAPA activities, and process improvement initiatives.
• Support new product introductions, supplier selection, and manufacturing readiness.
• Lead supplier projects including process transfers, validations, and capacity expansions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure scalable and compliant manufacturing operations.

What You'll Bring:

• BS in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in supplier management, supplier quality, manufacturing engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in medical device or other regulated manufacturing environments preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, project management, and cross-functional leadership skills.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.
