Senior Video Producer & Editor

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Video Producer & Editor based in Mexico.

This role offers the opportunity to shape powerful visual stories that connect a global entrepreneurial community through compelling video content.
You will own the full video lifecycle, from creative concept development and production planning to editing and final delivery.
Working across marketing, communications, events, and leadership teams, you will bring authentic stories to life through engaging digital experiences.
The position combines hands-on creative execution, strategic storytelling, and project leadership in a global environment.
You will create impactful content across campaigns, social platforms, events, and internal communications while maintaining strong brand standards.

Accountabilities:

As the Senior Video Producer & Editor, you will lead the creation of high-quality video content that supports brand storytelling, member engagement, campaigns, and global communications. You will manage projects from concept to completion while collaborating with internal teams and external production partners to deliver impactful content.

  • Develop video concepts, creative briefs, scripts, storyboards, interview plans, and production strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Create authentic storytelling content highlighting community experiences, leadership journeys, customer stories, and transformational moments.
  • Produce and edit a wide range of video formats, including social media content, campaign videos, event recaps, product explainers, leadership messages, and internal communications.
  • Manage the full post-production process, including editing, pacing, sound design, captions, color correction, motion graphics, versioning, and final exports.
  • Adapt video content for multiple platforms, including websites, social channels, email campaigns, presentations, and events.
  • Lead production planning by managing schedules, budgets, equipment needs, vendors, freelancers, and external production partners.
  • Coordinate video shoots with internal stakeholders, community members, event teams, and creative partners.
  • Conduct and guide interviews to capture authentic stories from leaders, members, and stakeholders.
  • Maintain organized project files, footage libraries, digital assets, permissions, and usage rights.
  • Ensure all content aligns with brand standards, accessibility requirements, and communication objectives.
  • Build scalable video workflows, templates, and production processes to improve efficiency and content output.
  • Explore AI-enabled production tools for transcription, translation, editing support, captioning, content repurposing, and workflow optimization.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced video storyteller with strong creative instincts, technical editing expertise, and the ability to manage complex projects independently. You should be comfortable balancing hands-on production with strategic collaboration in a global, remote environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree in film, video production, journalism, communications, marketing, visual arts, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • 7+ years of experience in video production, editing, digital media, documentary storytelling, brand content, or content marketing.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in interview-based storytelling, social-first content, campaign videos, event coverage, or branded content.
  • Advanced proficiency with professional editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar platforms.
  • Experience with video post-production processes, including audio editing, color correction, captioning, compression, and export formats.
  • Knowledge of motion graphics, branded templates, lower thirds, animated text, and visual effects is strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage projects from creative concept through final delivery.
  • Strong storytelling ability with the skill to transform interviews, events, and complex topics into engaging narratives.
  • Experience directing interviews and working with non-professional speakers or diverse audiences.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities, timelines, and stakeholders.
  • Experience managing freelancers, agencies, videographers, editors, and production vendors.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently within a distributed international team.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills when managing footage, assets, feedback, and production workflows.
  • Experience working with global teams, multicultural audiences, nonprofit organizations, associations, or entrepreneurial communities is a plus.
  • Fluency in English required; additional languages are an advantage.
