Location: 3425 S Clarkson St, Englewood, CO 80113.

Schedule: Sundays, Mondays 11-7:30PM and Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays 7-3:30PM.

Salary Pay Range: $18.50/ Hour - $26.64/ Hour

Position Summary:

The Food Service Utility Worker is responsible for assisting the Food Service leadership team in implementing a world-class quality food service program. The Food Service Utility Worker is responsible for cleaning dirty dishes and pots & pans using a dish machine or 3 compartment sink. This position will also be responsible for assisting in putting away stock.

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience:None
• Skills & Abilities: Strong written and verbal communication skills required. Ability to read and write in English and perform basic math calculations. Maintain strong interpersonal skills and ability to build cooperative working relationships with all staff members, patient, families, and visitors required. Strong ability to work as a team. Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure and concentrate in a noisy environment. Adhere to Hospital and department specific safety standards and guidelines. Demonstrate exceptional customer service and interact effectively with patients, families, visitors, staff.

• Clean dirty dishes and soiled pots and pans.
• Put away clean dishes, pots and pans. Sort, stack, and store clean dishes, utensils, pots and pans.
• Ensure all dirty dishes are prepped for the dish machine. Scrape or hose off returned food from soiled eating surfaces of plates, silverware, cups, and glasses. Scrape or hose off soiled surfaces from pots and pans.
• Operate mechanical dish machine or washes, rinses, and sanitizes pots and pans by hand in a 3 compartment sink.
• Inspect eating utensils for cleanliness. Notifies a supervisor when dishes when utensils are spotting.
• Read and record wash and rinse temperature gauges. Notifies a supervisor when temperatures are not within normal limits.
• Ensure correct concentration of sanitizer in 3 compartment sink.
• Help receive and put away food and nonfood items. Help maintain a clean and orderly storeroom and walk in cooler/freezer.
• Check items ordered against delivery receipt for correctness.
