Position Summary
Are you a highly skilled accounting professional who enjoys turning financial data into meaningful business insights? Join our growing team and play a key role in supporting a portfolio of physician practices through financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, and strategic decision support.
In this role, you will partner directly with physicians, operational leaders, and executive stakeholders to provide accurate financial reporting, drive financial performance, and support informed business decisions. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter with strong analytical capabilities, exceptional attention to detail, and a passion for delivering results in a dynamic healthcare environment.

As a trusted financial partner, you will help ensure the financial health and operational excellence of our physician practices through sound accounting principles, insightful analysis, and outstanding stakeholder support.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepares and maintains bank reconciliations, records bank transactions and reconciles outstanding check lists. Manages cash balance for each practice.
- Maintains balance sheet reconciliations.
- Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts and to document business transactions.
- Allocates shared costs amongst relevant practices.
- Prepares monthly financial statements for each practice and presents to all stakeholders. Reviews financial statements with practice physicians when needed.
- Researches and responds to physician or staff inquiries.
- Analyzes and prepares monthly budget variance explanations.
- Reviews and approves purchase orders
- Provides supporting schedules as a part of the annual financial statement audit.
- Prepares annual P&L budget at each physician practice level.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in accounting and four (4) years’ related accounting experience.
- Related experience assumes a similar corporate role focused on general accounting principles, reconciliation skills, financial statement preparation and presentation, and other related activities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications with advanced Excel skill level.
- Experience with MAS 500 or similar
- CRM database experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Specific experience in a medical practice environment or other healthcare related industry.
