Job Description
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: Minimum associate degree or equivalent experience, ASQ certification as a CQA, CMQ/OE, and/or CQE is preferred.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 2 years prior Quality experience required. Experience in metallurgical lab, foundry, and/or non-destructive testing is preferred. Quality Management Systems and NADCAP experience preferred.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for overseeing the implementation, maintenance, and continual improvement of the company's Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure its effectiveness and alignment with organizational goals. Coordinates and manages internal and external audits to ensure compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, and NADCAP standards. Maintains certification and regulatory compliance across all relevant quality domains.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and monitor the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure ongoing effectiveness and improvement.
• Coordinate and lead internal and external audits, including third-party audits and customer audits.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, including AS9100, ISO 9001, and NADCAP requirements.
• Maintain documentation, procedures, and records in accordance with quality system requirements.
• Provide guidance and support to operational teams on Quality Assurance practices and regulatory compliance.
• Communicate quality performance and compliance issues effectively across all levels of the organization.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Strong knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001, and NADCAP standards.
• Proven experience managing quality systems and certification processes.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and influence quality-driven culture throughout the organization.
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
• Implement and maintain Wellman Dynamics Quality Management System.
• Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Adobe, Power Point, etc.)
• Prepare and maintain in-plant, as well as out-of-plant audit system, as required.
• Manage and maintain certification of all personnel.
• Conduct in-plant surveys/audits with customer representatives.
• Work with customers periodically to resolve problems, receive training, help implement new quality programs, etc.
• Examine company processes to determine and ensure they follow applicable standards.
• Issue internal corrective actions and monitor follow up activities.
• Organize and lead root cause analysis and corrective action programs.
• Distribute training documents and interact with other departments.
• Coordinate and manage NADCAP audits and corrective action responses.
• Coordinate Internal / Process Audit function.
• Manage company gage calibration system.
• Manage company Document Control function.
• Responsible for ensuring that all industry and customer specifications are kept current to the latest revision.
