The Scheduler is responsible for coordinating and managing patient appointments to support efficient operations and a positive patient experience. You will work closely with patients, physicians, and staff to schedule appointments, maintain accurate patient information, communicate scheduling details, and help ensure patients receive timely and coordinated care.
As a Scheduler, a typical day might include the following:
- Scheduling appointments based on physician orders and patient needs
- Managing provider calendars and coordinating patient appointments, specialized diagnostic tests and surgical procedures
- Verifying insurance and pre-authorizations have been obtained
- Communicating appointment details with patients and addressing scheduling inquiries
- Maintaining accurate patient information while delivering exceptional customer service to support a positive patient experience throughout the scheduling process.

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have a High School diploma or equivalent with 1-3 years of scheduling experience in a medical office/clinical setting. Associates Degree preferred. Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office and proficient computer skills. Familiarity with office equipment such as copier, fax machines. Must demonstrate willingness to learn. This is a Full-Time, Day position Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-4:30PM.
