This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Global Logistics Excellence & Programme Manager Castrol based in India.

Join a global transformation initiative focused on redefining logistics operations across a complex international supply chain. As the Global Logistics Excellence & Programme Manager, you will lead strategic programs that enhance logistics performance, digitalization, operational resilience, and cost efficiency across the Eastern Hemisphere. This role combines deep logistics expertise with large-scale program leadership, offering the opportunity to influence future operating models, technology adoption, and process excellence. Working alongside cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders, you will drive impactful change while helping build scalable, high-performing logistics capabilities in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead a portfolio of strategic logistics transformation programs, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Develop and manage program roadmaps, governance frameworks, project dependencies, and performance reporting.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert across transportation, warehousing, marine and shipping, logistics planning, and end-to-end supply chain operations.
  • Drive the standardization and continuous improvement of logistics processes, operating models, KPIs, and performance management frameworks.
  • Identify opportunities to improve logistics efficiency, service quality, resilience, safety, sustainability, and cost optimization.
  • Oversee portfolio planning, project prioritization, risk management, resource allocation, and executive reporting.
  • Collaborate with global supply chain, procurement, finance, digital, and business teams to align transformation initiatives with organizational objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with logistics providers, technology partners, and external consultants.
  • Lead organizational change management activities, ensuring successful adoption of new systems, processes, and operating models.
  • Develop business cases, monitor program investments, track value realization, and promote best practices in project and program management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations within multinational organizations.
  • Strong expertise in transportation, warehousing, logistics planning, marine and shipping, or end-to-end logistics operations.
  • Proven experience leading large-scale logistics transformation, operational excellence, or digitalization initiatives.
  • Demonstrated success managing cross-functional projects involving supply chain, procurement, technology, and commercial stakeholders.
  • Experience developing logistics strategies, operating models, KPI frameworks, and continuous improvement programs.
  • Strong financial acumen, including business case development, investment analysis, and benefits realization.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Experience working with logistics service providers, consultants, and technology vendors.
  • Familiarity with Transport Management Systems (TMS), Control Towers, logistics visibility platforms, or other digital logistics technologies is highly desirable.
  • Experience across complex international supply chain networks or industries such as FMCG, chemicals, industrial manufacturing, or logistics services is an advantage.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, MSP, or Agile/Scrum are preferred.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% as required.
