SaaS Sales Development Representative

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a SaaS Sales Development Representative based in Canada.

As a SaaS Sales Development Representative, you will play a key role in building a predictable, high-quality sales pipeline from the ground up.
You will identify and engage prospective customers across target industries and markets through structured, multi-channel outreach.
As an early point of contact, you will uncover customer needs, assess business fit, and communicate the value of an enterprise SaaS solution.
You will work closely with Account Executives to ensure qualified opportunities move smoothly into the next stage of the sales cycle.
The role combines prospecting, consultative communication, qualification, CRM management, and data-driven pipeline development.
You will operate in a fast-paced, multicultural environment where disciplined execution and consistent performance directly influence revenue growth.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious early-career sales professional looking to develop strong SaaS, enterprise sales, and business development skills.

Accountabilities:
  • Identify, research, source, and qualify prospective customers across defined industries, accounts, and geographic markets.
  • Execute structured outbound prospecting campaigns through email, phone, social channels, and other appropriate communication methods.
  • Build and maintain a consistent flow of qualified leads to support predictable sales pipeline generation.
  • Quickly assess prospect fit based on factors such as business needs, use cases, urgency, pain points, and potential value.
  • Conduct initial discovery conversations to understand prospect challenges and determine whether the solution is a relevant fit.
  • Clearly communicate the high-level value proposition and connect prospect needs with relevant SaaS platform capabilities.
  • Manage the initial qualification stages of the sales pipeline and ensure opportunities passed to Account Executives meet established qualification criteria.
  • Maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date CRM records covering prospect interactions, qualification status, activities, and next steps.
  • Monitor outreach activity, lead volumes, qualification rates, and conversion metrics to support effective pipeline management.
  • Provide accurate reporting and forecasts to sales leadership and maintain strong CRM data hygiene.
  • Consistently work toward and exceed monthly and quarterly targets for qualified opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with Account Executives and other sales stakeholders to ensure smooth handoffs and strong prospect experiences.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, Sales, or a related field; recent graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage prospects professionally and confidently.
  • Highly organized and self-motivated, with the ability to manage a high volume of outreach and multiple prospect interactions.
  • Comfortable working toward measurable sales targets and maintaining consistent activity levels.
  • Strong curiosity about SaaS, enterprise technology, logistics, supply chain, or B2B sales.
  • Ability to quickly understand customer pain points and communicate relevant business value.
  • Strong qualification and judgment skills, with an understanding of when a prospect is ready to progress through the sales funnel.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, sales engagement platforms, or outreach tools is an advantage but not required.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multicultural, and data-driven environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate CRM and pipeline information.
  • Resilient, proactive, and comfortable receiving feedback and continuously improving sales techniques.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with Account Executives and wider sales teams.
Benefits:
  • Competitive base salary with uncapped performance-based bonuses.
  • 21 days of annual leave in addition to applicable national public holidays.
  • Additional Years of Service Leave.
  • Flexible wellness benefits that can support gym memberships and other wellbeing needs.
  • Remote working opportunity based in London, Ontario, Canada.
  • Full-time position within a fast-growing global technology environment.
  • Opportunity to develop expertise in SaaS sales, prospecting, qualification, enterprise selling, and pipeline management.
  • Hands-on exposure to CRM, sales engagement, data-driven prospecting, and modern sales processes.
  • Strong opportunities for career development and progression within a growing technology organization.
  • Collaborative, multicultural, and performance-oriented working environment.
