This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a DevSecOps Engineer II based in India.
This is an opportunity to strengthen the operational security and reliability of a global, customer-facing SaaS platform in a fully remote environment.
You will work at the intersection of cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, platform engineering, and production operations.
The role offers meaningful ownership of security automation, infrastructure hardening, monitoring, compliance, and vulnerability remediation.
You will partner with Engineering, Product, Services, Cybersecurity, and other technical teams to embed security throughout the software lifecycle.
Your work will directly contribute to maintaining secure, highly available cloud services used by enterprise customers worldwide.
You will join a collaborative DevSecOps team where proactive problem-solving, automation, and continuous improvement are highly valued.

- Implement and maintain operational security measures across a global, customer-facing SaaS infrastructure.
- Design and implement file integrity monitoring (FIM) capabilities and automate the collection of audit and compliance evidence.
- Develop, harden, and maintain secure base images used across the organization.
- Secure containerized applications and infrastructure while helping engineering teams adopt secure deployment practices.
- Build and improve security automation, tools, utilities, and operational processes across cloud environments.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Services, Cybersecurity, and other stakeholders to securely introduce new features and services into production.
- Support vulnerability and security misconfiguration remediation efforts and work with cybersecurity teams to meet defined SLAs.
- Participate in an on-call rotation and independently troubleshoot and resolve production security or infrastructure incidents.
- Contribute to 24x7 production operations for highly available cloud services.
- Continuously improve operational practices, procedures, security controls, and automation.
- Support information security and compliance requirements, including standards and frameworks such as ISO and SOC.
- Proactively identify opportunities to strengthen platform security, reliability, and operational efficiency.
- Contribute to an Agile, collaborative environment by sharing expertise and influencing secure engineering practices across teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or another technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience supporting 24x7 production operations, ideally within a highly available SaaS or cloud service environment.
- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS and/or Azure.
- Practical knowledge of security technologies and solutions such as SIRP, SIEM, IDS/IPS, and WAF.
- Experience securing containerized applications, workloads, and container images.
- Experience implementing and managing file integrity monitoring solutions.
- Experience with release automation and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, along with system administration, configuration, and debugging.
- Proficiency with scripting languages such as Python or Ruby.
- Experience with configuration management tools such as Chef or Puppet.
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform, and command execution or automation frameworks.
- Strong understanding of operating systems, networking concepts, cloud infrastructure, security principles, and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Ability to automate repetitive operational and security tasks and develop scalable engineering solutions.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence engineers and stakeholders without direct authority.
- Comfortable working in an Agile, entrepreneurial, and fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work at least four overlapping hours with U.S. time zones.
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation and support production systems when required.
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership of security improvement initiatives and grow into a subject matter expert in operational security.
