Agile Master

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Agile Master based in Brazil.

This is an opportunity for an Agile professional to help development teams strengthen their ways of working and consistently deliver value. You will facilitate Agile practices across Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe environments, supporting teams through ceremonies, planning, execution, and continuous improvement. The role combines facilitation, coaching, data analysis, impediment management, and cross-functional collaboration. You will work closely with Product Owners, Tech Leads, Architecture, Development, QA, DevOps, and Product Management teams. The position also offers the opportunity to leverage AI tools to improve productivity, organize information, generate insights, and support decision-making. It is a great fit for someone who is collaborative, analytical, proactive, and passionate about building mature, transparent, and high-performing Agile teams.

Accountabilities:
  • Facilitate Agile practices within software development teams, supporting the effective adoption of Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe frameworks.
  • Organize and facilitate Agile ceremonies, including Daily Meetings, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, Refinements, and SAFe events.
  • Monitor Sprint and Program Increment (PI) progress, tracking flow, capacity, predictability, and team performance indicators.
  • Support Product Owners, Tech Leads, and development teams with backlog management and prioritization, ensuring alignment between planning and execution.
  • Identify impediments, risks, and dependencies and work with teams and stakeholders to resolve or escalate them when necessary.
  • Promote an Agile culture based on collaboration, transparency, continuous improvement, and focus on value delivery.
  • Maintain dashboards, metrics, and team performance indicators to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize workflows and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Architecture, Development, QA, DevOps, and Product Management to promote alignment across teams and disciplines.
  • Use AI tools to support meeting minutes, action plans, information organization, insight generation, and productivity, while following security and governance guidelines.
  • Support other Agile Masters and leadership teams in preparing ceremonies, presentations, and executive-level indicators.
  • Contribute to the evolution of Agile maturity by observing team dynamics, monitoring progress, and sharing effective practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in any field.
  • Professional experience working with software development teams using Agile methodologies.
  • Practical knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and basic SAFe concepts.
  • Experience organizing and facilitating Agile ceremonies.
  • Experience using Agile management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
  • Basic knowledge of Agile metrics, including Velocity, Lead Time, Cycle Time, Burndown, and Throughput.
  • Experience creating performance indicators and monitoring action plans.
  • Familiarity with risk, impediment, and cross-team dependency management is desirable.
  • Familiarity with AI tools applied to productivity and team management.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word), Confluence, and Miro or equivalent collaboration tools.
  • Basic knowledge of Power BI.
  • Familiarity with productivity-focused AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini, or equivalent solutions.
  • Strong facilitation, communication, organization, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Analytical and proactive mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Nice to have: experience in medium- or large-sized corporate environments.
  • Nice to have: experience in organizations adopting SAFe.
  • Nice to have: knowledge of Flow Metrics and Agile flow management.
  • Nice to have: basic knowledge of OKRs and performance indicators.
  • Nice to have: experience creating dashboards with Power BI.
  • Nice to have: familiarity with DevOps processes and the software development lifecycle.
  • Nice to have: experience supporting PI Planning and other SAFe events.
  • Nice to have: participation in Agile transformation, continuous improvement, or initiatives involving AI tools for team productivity.
