What You Will Do:

  • Plan and shoot professional product photography and videography for PIM, retail.com, residential.com, the customer portal, websites, and additional digital and print applications.
  • Develop and execute high-impact visual storytelling through photography and video that brings products to life for homeowners, installers, contractors, distributors, and retail partners.
  • Create compelling content from concept to completion, including creative direction, script development, filming, editing, motion graphics, and final asset delivery across digital, ecommerce, social, and sales channels.
  • Photograph products in a dedicated studio environment and on location at factories, distribution centers, offices, and job sites.
  • Light products accurately and consistently using high-output lighting, secondary lighting, diffusion, grip equipment, backgrounds, and related production tools.
  • Shoot and light professional video content, including product demonstrations, installations, interviews, training content, and location footage.
  • Record clean, professional interview and location audio using appropriate microphones and audio equipment.
  • Edit video footage, perform color correction, improve audio, and prepare final files for multiple channels and formats.
  • Retouch, composite, and color-correct still photography while maintaining accurate product appearance.
  • Create basic motion graphics, titles, lower thirds, transitions, and other supporting video elements.
  • Use tethered photography workflows to review, select, and organize images efficiently during shoots.
  • Manage digital workflows, file naming conventions, metadata, version control, folder structures, backups, and asset delivery.
  • Maintain an organized, searchable visual asset library and support the accurate placement of approved assets within PIM and other platforms.
  • Coordinate freelance assistants, specialized equipment rentals, locations, and other production resources when required.
  • Travel to and work independently at company facilities, distribution centers, customer locations, and job sites as needed.

How You Will Do It:

  • Partner closely with Marketing, Ecommerce, Product Management, Sales, Operations, and other stakeholders to understand project goals, priorities, specifications, and timing.
  • Develop shot lists, video scripts, production plans, schedules, equipment lists, and location requirements before each shoot.
  • Apply consistent brand, photography, videography, and product presentation standards across all deliverables.
  • Adapt lighting and production techniques for products with varied sizes, materials, finishes, glare, and reflectivity.
  • Balance multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining strong attention to detail and production quality.
  • Work independently, solve production challenges on location, and communicate clearly with facility teams and project stakeholders.
  • Maintain camera, lighting, grip, audio, computer, storage, and studio equipment in shoot-ready condition.
  • Continuously improve production workflows, asset organization, and content quality.

What We’re Looking for:

  • 4+ years of professional experience in photography, videography, visual content production, or a related field.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating product storytelling through photography, lighting, videography, video editing, audio recording, photo retouching, and color correction.
  • Hands-on experience with professional DSLR or mirrorless camera systems, lenses, studio and location lighting, diffusion, grip equipment, backgrounds, tethered capture, microphones, and audio recorders.
  • Experience working across a wide variety of creative and production software, including Adobe Creative Cloud applications such as Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Illustrator.
  • Strong working knowledge of digital photography and video workflows, file formats, color management, naming conventions, metadata, storage, and asset organization.
  • Ability to work independently in active manufacturing, distribution, office, and job-site environments while following all site-specific safety requirements.
  • Strong planning, organization, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and deliver accurate, production-ready assets on schedule.
  • Flexibility to travel to company and customer locations as required.
  • Must be able to share portfolio of prior photography and videography work.
  • Must be able to provide examples of videos that educate target audiences and drive purchase intent.
