Job Description
Job Summary: To perform and improve the appraisal activities of the quality system to verify that materials, products and services conform to the specified quality requirements.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Following processes and ensure adherence to best production practices and customer quality standards.
- Inspection of raw, in-process (WIP) and finished goods inventory parts to determine if they meet customer specifications.
- Track all defects related to part quality, material, subcontract operations and packaging for analysis in Thrive.
- Verifying the consistency and reliability of product quality based on specified AQL levels, taking into account such factors as time, cost and quality control.
- Romer Arm/CMM programming for probing and scanning is a must have.
- Communicate with management and operators regarding quality problems or elevated risk of defects
- Enter data regarding NMR or RMA issues keep and update respective lists for review.
- Assisting with training personnel to adhere to quality standards.
- Excellent blueprint reading ability
- A understanding of GD&T, PPAP, 1st Article
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to facilitate group problem solving activities. (root cause, corrective action, 5 why)
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Aptitude for providing information, perform training and develop other employees.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with all levels of the organization.
- Strong computer skills including proficiency in Excel, Word and Power Point.

Education and Experience:
- Must have 7+ years of quality assurance experience within a progressive quality department.

Monday-Thursday 6:00am-3:15pm, Friday 6:00am-11:00am
