Job Description

What you'll do:
- Take ownership of assigned tasks and deliverables, ensuring they are completed to agreed scope, quality standards, and timelines
- Support assessment, migration, modernisation, and platform engineering activities through hands-on delivery and technical implementation
- Support project delivery activities including implementation, configuration, migration, engineering work, and contributing to client workshops
- Communicate progress and risks effectively by providing regular updates and proactively identifying blockers or issues
- Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure work aligns with project scope, technical direction, and client requirements
- Contribute to documentation, technical analysis, and reusable assets that support delivery outcomes and practice development
- Continuously develop technical and consulting skills through knowledge sharing, communities of practice, upskilling, and support from senior team members
What you’ll bring:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience in:
- Supporting AWS infrastructure design and delivery to help build secure, reliable, and well-governed cloud environments using established cloud patterns
- Assisting with containerised workloads and Amazon EKS environments, including a basic understanding of clusters, deployments, scaling, and networking concepts
- Using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK to support automated, version-controlled, and repeatable infrastructure provisioning
- Supporting CI/CD and GitOps practices to help build and maintain automated delivery workflows for applications and infrastructure
- Applying AWS Well-Architected principles with guidance, learning to design and review solutions with a focus on security, reliability, cost optimisation, and operational excellence
- Using AI-assisted engineering tools to improve productivity, accelerate learning, support documentation, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to delivery outcomes
- Developing consulting skills by supporting workshops, documenting technical work, and learning how to translate technical concepts into clear updates for stakeholders
- Continuously learning and developing skills across AWS, Kubernetes, AI-assisted engineering, and modern platform engineering practices
