Job Description
HRIS Analyst
ProCo LLC · AICA Orthopedics · Marietta, GA
Title: HRIS Analyst
Reports To: Director of Human Resources
Department: Human Resources
Location: Marietta (On-site)
Compensation: Up to $90,000
Last Updated: 2026
POSITION IMPACT
ProCo LLC is a management services organization supporting five healthcare service lines, including AICA Orthopedics — Atlanta’s premier orthopedic and surgical group operating 21 clinics and 3 surgery centers across metro Atlanta with 400+ team members.
Paylocity is the operational backbone of HR, payroll, and benefits administration across ProCo. This role owns that system completely — its integrity, its configuration, and its performance. But ownership here means more than keeping the lights on. It means making the system work smarter.
The HRIS Analyst comes in with a clear immediate mandate: audit the current Paylocity environment, resolve inherited configuration issues, and establish the data governance standards the organization depends on. From there, this role shifts into systems design and analytics — building the reporting infrastructure, workflow automations, and process efficiencies that allow HR and Operations leadership to make better decisions faster.
The right person for this role is technically confident, analytically driven, and energized by turning messy systems into clean ones. You don’t wait to be asked — you spot the inefficiency and fix it.
WHAT YOU’LL OWN
System Audit & Stabilization (Immediate Priority)
Conduct a comprehensive audit of existing Paylocity configuration, workflows, and integrations
Identify non-standard configurations, data anomalies, and process gaps
Develop and execute a remediation plan in partnership with the Senior HR Manager
Document current system state and establish a clean baseline for ongoing governance
HRIS Administration & System Ownership
Own Paylocity configuration, module management, and platform updates
Manage user access, roles, and permissions across the organization
Process new hire setup, status changes, and terminations with accuracy and timeliness
Maintain employee data integrity through regular audits and quality checks
Manage Paylocity vendor relationship and serve as primary point of contact for support escalations
Coordinate system integrations with payroll, benefits carriers, and third-party vendors
Systems Design & Process Automation
Identify manual or redundant HR workflows and design system-based solutions
Build and implement Paylocity workflow automations to reduce administrative burden
Design scalable onboarding, offboarding, and lifecycle transaction processes within the system
Evaluate and implement new Paylocity modules or features that improve operational efficiency
Partner with HR and Operations leadership to understand workflow pain points and engineer solutions
Reporting & Data Analytics
Design and maintain a standard HR reporting suite: headcount, turnover, compensation, benefits, time & attendance
Build dashboards and recurring reports for HR, Finance, and Operations leadership
Produce compliance reports for EEOC, ACA, and other regulatory requirements
Respond to ad hoc data requests and translate raw data into actionable insights
Identify trends, surface anomalies, and proactively present findings to leadership
Payroll & Benefits Coordination
Partner with Finance on payroll data accuracy and timely processing
Support benefits enrollment, carrier file feeds, and open enrollment system configuration
Troubleshoot payroll and benefits discrepancies at the system level
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
3+ years of HRIS administration or analyst experience with direct Paylocity ownership
Demonstrated ability to audit, troubleshoot, and optimize HRIS configurations
Hands-on experience designing or improving HR system workflows and automations
Strong data analysis and reporting skills — comfortable building reports and dashboards from scratch
Healthcare, ambulatory care, or multi-site operations experience
Detail-oriented with a systematic approach to data integrity and documentation
Technically confident — comfortable learning new tools, integrations, and system capabilities independently
Preferred
Paylocity expertise
Experience conducting a full HRIS audit or leading a system cleanup or migration project
Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets at an advanced level; experience with BI tools a plus
Familiarity with ACA reporting, EEOC data requirements, and compliance reporting
Exposure to HR process mapping, workflow design, or operational efficiency projects
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
This role is the right fit if you...
See a manual process and immediately start designing a better one
Approach inherited system complexity methodically — you assess before you act, then you fix it completely
Are the person others come to when something in the system doesn’t make sense
Get as much satisfaction from a clean dataset as from a well-designed workflow
Are comfortable being both the technical expert and a collaborative partner to non-technical teammates
Don’t need to be asked to find inefficiencies — you find them and bring solutions
This role is not the right fit if you prefer to maintain systems as-is or work primarily from established processes. This organization is actively improving its HR infrastructure and needs someone who brings ideas, not just execution.
REWARDS
Up to $95,000 base salary commensurate with experience
Full benefits package including medical, dental, and vision
PTO and paid holidays
Direct partnership with HR and Finance leadership
Genuine ownership of a critical system with real latitude to improve it
A technically interesting challenge at a growing multi-site healthcare organization
