Location: 914 Ironwood Drive, Coeur d'Alene, ID
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday | Flexible Start Time (7:00 a.m. - 8:30 a.m.)
Reports To: Clinic Manager

Position Summary

Kootenai Health is seeking a collaborative and people-focused Clinic Supervisor to oversee daily clinic operations, support a multidisciplinary team, and ensure exceptional patient care and service. This role is responsible for supervising clinical and operational staff, coordinating workflow efficiency, supporting providers, and fostering a positive team culture that promotes communication, accountability, and high-quality patient outcomes.

Leadership & Staff Management
  • Provide direct supervision and support for a team of approximately 11 caregivers, including:
    • Office Service Coordinators (OSCs)
    • Medical Assistants (MAs)
    • Registered Nurses (RNs)
  • Foster an open-door leadership style built on communication, trust, and accountability.
  • Conduct daily team huddles and routine caregiver rounding to promote engagement and address operational needs.
  • Support staff development, performance management, coaching, and employee recognition.
  • Facilitate consistent and productive monthly staff meetings.
Clinic Operations
  • Coordinate daily staffing assignments and coverage to ensure smooth clinic operations.
  • Manage provider schedules and clinic workflow to optimize patient access and efficiency.
  • Address patient care concerns and operational issues in real time.
  • Monitor clinic performance and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Partner with providers and leadership to ensure efficient clinic operations and exceptional patient experiences.

Requirements and Minimum Qualifications:


  • Associate’s degree required

  • Minimum 3 years' related experience required

  • Previous management experience preferred
