Mid/Senior QA Automation Engineer (Mobile) | Contract
Must-Have Requirements:
30 - 50 an hour
The role focuses on quality assurance for a banking mobile application project. The specialist will support end-to-end testing across Android, iOS, API, frontend, backend, and integration layers, while contributing to automated testing using Java, Selenide, TestNG, and cloud-based testing platforms such as LambdaTest.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform end-to-end testing of mobile applications across Android and iOS platforms.
- Conduct UI testing and API testing to validate backend communication and messaging.
- Ensure quality across frontend, backend, and integration points.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to align on testing scope and coverage.
- Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of automated test suites.
- Participate in manual exploratory testing for new features when needed.
- Middle-Senior experience in software testing and quality assurance.
- Strong knowledge of software testing principles and QA methodologies.
- Proficiency in Java for test automation.
- Experience with Selenide for UI automation.
- Experience with TestNG for test orchestration and reporting.
- Experience with LambdaTest or similar cloud testing platforms.
- Familiarity with REST-assured, Postman, or similar API testing tools.
- Ability to write automated API tests integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with GitLab CI or similar CI/CD tools.
- Ability to define and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data.
- Experience with bug tracking and test management tools such as Jira.
- Strong communication skills for working with cross-functional teams.
