This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a high-performing finance team supporting core accounting operations in a fast-paced, global environment. You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records through month-end close activities, journal entries, and account reconciliations. The position requires strong attention to detail and the ability to meet strict reporting deadlines, especially during financial close cycles. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain compliance, improve financial processes, and support audit requirements. The role also provides exposure to enterprise accounting systems and tools such as Microsoft Dynamics GP and Salesforce. It is well-suited for a detail-oriented accounting professional looking to grow within a structured yet dynamic finance environment.
- Execute month-end and year-end close activities, ensuring accurate and timely completion in line with accounting standards and internal policies.
- Prepare, review, and post general ledger entries, adjustments, and supporting documentation.
- Perform account reconciliations, variance analysis, and assist in the preparation of financial reports.
- Maintain and update accounting records in Microsoft Dynamics GP and support related system activities, including Salesforce interactions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial data accuracy, compliance, and proper documentation.
- Support internal and external audit processes by preparing schedules, reconciliations, and required financial documentation.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives aimed at increasing efficiency and accuracy within the accounting function.
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is required.
- 1.5 to 3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in month-end close and general ledger functions.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting processes.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, data analysis, and reporting.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) and Salesforce is preferred.
- Exposure to ASC 606 revenue recognition principles and Big 4 experience is an advantage.
- Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a structured environment.
