Mobile Mortgage Advisor

This role is a client-facing, relationship-driven mortgage sales position focused on helping individuals achieve homeownership through personalized financial solutions. Operating in a flexible, mobile model, you will meet clients where it is most convenient for them while building strong, long-term relationships within your local market. The role combines business development, advisory expertise, and community networking to generate new mortgage opportunities and support clients through every stage of the home financing journey. You will work closely with internal banking teams and external partners to deliver tailored mortgage solutions that meet client needs. Success in this role requires strong sales instincts, deep mortgage knowledge, and a passion for customer experience. Accountabilities:

In this role, you will be responsible for driving mortgage growth by building relationships, generating leads, and delivering tailored home financing solutions. You will manage your own client portfolio while actively developing new business opportunities through networking and community engagement. Key responsibilities include:

  • Engaging with clients to understand their financial needs and provide personalized mortgage advice and solutions
  • Developing and executing local business development strategies to generate leads and convert opportunities into mortgage sales
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with realtors, community partners, and internal banking teams to support referral pipelines
  • Meeting clients remotely or in person with flexibility to accommodate their schedules and preferences
  • Supporting clients throughout the mortgage process, including application, documentation, and approval stages
  • Identifying market opportunities and contributing insights to improve sales performance and client experience
  • Participating in community events and networking activities to expand visibility and business reach
  • Ensuring compliance with internal policies, risk guidelines, and regulatory requirements in all mortgage transactions
Requirements:

The ideal candidate brings experience in mortgage sales, financial services, or banking, along with strong relationship-building and business development skills. You are highly motivated, client-focused, and comfortable working in a commission-based environment. Key qualifications include:

  • Experience in mortgage advisory, banking, real estate, or financial services sales
  • Strong understanding of mortgage products, lending processes, and home financing solutions
  • Proven ability to generate leads and build a sustainable client pipeline through networking and referrals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a client-first mindset
  • Strong sales orientation with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
  • Ability to work independently in a mobile, flexible, and performance-driven environment
  • Solid organizational skills to manage multiple clients and transactions simultaneously
  • Knowledge of local real estate markets is considered an asset
  • Valid eligibility to work in Canada and relevant licensing or certifications as required
