In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and ongoing improvement of scalable web applications across the organization’s digital ecosystem. You will work across multiple layers of the stack while ensuring quality, performance, and maintainability.
- Build, test, deploy, and maintain modern web applications and features for internal and external users
- Develop across front-end (React/JavaScript) and backend services (Java or Python), ensuring seamless integration
- Support cloud-based infrastructure and DevOps practices, including CI/CD and deployment automation
- Contribute to the modernization of legacy systems and assist in architectural transitions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Participate in debugging, optimization, and continuous improvement of existing systems
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders in an agile environment
The ideal candidate brings solid full-stack development experience, strong technical fundamentals, and a proactive mindset toward learning and problem-solving. You are comfortable working in fast-paced environments and collaborating across teams.
- 3+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong proficiency in React and JavaScript for front-end development
- Backend development experience in Java or Python
- Good understanding of SQL and relational database concepts
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) and DevOps practices
- Knowledge of modern web standards, security, and accessibility principles
- Ability to interpret business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Strong communication skills and collaborative working style
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) is a plus
- Competitive salary range: $100,000 – $115,000 CAD, based on experience
