  • Support virtualization, containerization, and cloud infrastructure environments, contributing to system scalability and modernization.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and respond to critical incidents to ensure continuity of operations.
  • Assist with IT asset management, inventory tracking, and infrastructure lifecycle planning.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior systems administration staff as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 4–6 years of enterprise systems administration experience in multi-platform environments.
  • Strong proficiency in UNIX/Linux systems administration, including shell scripting and command-line tools.
  • Extensive experience with Windows Server administration, Active Directory, and desktop environments.
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and firewall configuration.
  • Experience with patch management, system hardening, vulnerability scanning, and security best practices.
  • Familiarity with Federal cybersecurity frameworks such as FISMA, NIST 800-53, and RMF compliance requirements.
  • Experience with enterprise backup and recovery tools such as Druva or equivalent platforms.
  • Ability to manage complex technical environments independently and make sound operational decisions.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills in high-availability environments.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • U.S. citizenship or authorization to work in the United States and ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
  • Experience with virtualization (VMware, KVM), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), or cloud platforms is a plus.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Jamf Pro, BigFix, Graylog, PDQ, Jira, or ServiceNow is highly desirable.

Benefits:
