Technical Project Manager
Technical Project Manager is responsible for interpreting business requirements and translating them into Decisioning solutions. Intake Decisioning requirements from various business units and translate them into decisioning logic used to present relevant and eligible offers to customers. Responsible for testing changes to decisioning logic/strategy and interfacing with various development teams regarding requirements and defect fixes.
The role will require in-depth knowledge of PEGA 23 or greater (25) CDH Decisioning capabilities, business strategy, customers/agent experiences, products/offers, and IT systems. Will need to translate the business's vision into thorough business requirements while managing project scope/deliverables end-to-end. Acts as the 'business stakeholder' on behalf of the stakeholders when working with IT.
The role will require in-depth knowledge of PEGA 23 or greater (25) CDH Decisioning capabilities, business strategy, customers/agent experiences, products/offers, and IT systems. Will need to translate the business's vision into thorough business requirements while managing project scope/deliverables end-to-end. Job Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
- Work closely with teammates to determine process improvements related to our PEGA Decisioning platform and governance process.
- Maintain process flow documentation for PEGA Decisioning Logic version 2025 changes from ideation to production through SharePoint and project management systems like Asana.
- Consolidate information and present it to senior management clearly and concisely.
- Understand and effectively communicate business requirements of projects to Technology teams and be able to assess whether the technical delivery will meet the business requirements.
- Execute testing of decisioning system changes implemented by Tech Dev (UAT).
Secondary Functions:
- Translate Marketing offer strategy into decisioning logic based on customer attributes and customer intent.
- Develop and build decisioning logic to meet Marketing offer strategy requirements
- Document and maintain development standards for ongoing decisioning logic changes
- Create test cases for iterations of the Marketing offers strategy via decisioning
- Execute and validate test cases (UAT and Regression), identify defects, and investigate failures to help uncover appropriate solutions.
- Maintain and execute regression testing of the decisioning system to ensure consistent quality
- Create PowerPoint documentation to help explain project changes to the business

Job Qualifications
Education/Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, data science, or other technical area, and 5+ years of Marketing Technology or related, relevant Technical experience.
Experience:
- Experience or strong knowledge of Pega CDH.
- Experience with Retail or Call Center CRM systems. Offers are presented in CRM systems such as Oracle, Salesforce, and Clarify. Knowledge of these systems is needed to confirm that the decisioning logic is executing and presenting as expected.
- Experience in Agile methodology.
- Experience in creating and documenting business requirements.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams within Marketing, Sales, Customer Care, Finance, IT, etc.
Skills and Qualifications:
- In-depth Understanding of PEGA Decisioning and Prediction studio
- In-depth understanding of IT (Agile and Waterfall methodologies)

- Familiar with marketing databases, digital, and orchestration technologies, ex Adobe, Pega, Unica. These technologies will be leveraged to execute the marketing offer strategy via decisioning logic.
- Familiar with SQL, SAS, or similar data analysis language. Data analysis is required to validate decisioning logic transactions and identify trends or potential issues with the logic strategy.
- Familiar with software like JIRA & ServiceNow
- Some proficiency reading and understanding XML transactions. XML transactions are leveraged to simulate the decisioning logic via API request with variable attributes. The subsequent XML responses are evaluated to confirm that the logic executes as expected and that the correct offers are presented.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex issues and design appropriate solutions.
- Ability to manage heavy workload, accommodate change, and adapt accordingly. Experience delivering results in a fast-moving, challenging environment.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to tailor communication to the audience to achieve desired results.
- Proficiency in standard MS Office applications specifically MS PowerPoint
