JOB SUMMARY:

The Custodial Manager is responsible for gathering information and maintaining accurate data for the custodial and maintenance operations at the Zions Bank Basketball Campus, Stars Practice Facility, Utah Mammoth Practice Facility, and office space at The Shops at South Town. This person understands the overall strategic aims and interest of these facilities and manages the day -to-day operations to meet those aims.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage and motivate custodial staff.
  • Accomplish tasks with a high degree of efficiency and strong attention to detail.
  • Adapt the timing and tasks of the workload daily to meet changing needs.
  • Respond to the needs and demands of the crew and facilities as challenges arise.
  • Report needs for major repairs to department manager.
  • Maintain inventory of custodial supplies and equipment.
  • Basic data entry, compilation, and analysis.
  • Administer all purchase orders and bids.
  • General office manager duties.
  • Look for trends and patterns in departmental purchase to ensure cost control.
  • Build positive relationships with supervisors and managers.
  • Demonstrate a positive, professional attitude.
  • Contribute to an orderly and safe work environment.
  • Perform projects and assignments with a sense of urgency.
  • Demonstrate world-class customer service and if you don’t directly interact with the customer, support those that do.
  • Protect the reputation of the company.
  • Exemplify the mission and values: transparent, all in, community obsessed, one team, and scrappy.
  • Accept other duties, as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must possess a valid Utah driver’s license.
  • Must be able to pass a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) screening in accordance with company policy and insurance requirements.
  • Must be able to pass a drug test.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic bookkeeping knowledge preferred.
  • Extreme high attention to detail.
  • Available for a flexible, day time schedule.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Basic data entry and computer skills.
  • Relevant math and reading skills.
  • Demonstrate accountability, adaptability, dependability, collaboration and respect.
  • Previous facilities experience preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • This person must be able to communicate and express themselves both written and verbally.
  • This person must be able to observe, inspect, estimate and assess.
  • This person must be able to sit, stand, bend, walk, and climb stairs for long periods of time.
  • This person must be able to lift 25lbs occasionally.
