Research Assistant - NEUROLOGY

Assisting with mouse colony, breeding, genotyping, injection, pregnancy check and behavioral testing. Assisting with harvesting mouse tissues for mitochondrial functional analysis, Western blotting, sequencing, histology, and other functional assays. Assisting with imaging analysis, high-definition brain network analysis, cardiac functional analysis, segmentation, and volumetric analysis. This position is located at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh in Lawrenceville. PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check, and FBI Criminal Record Check will be required prior to the start of employment. Basic wet lab and computer and Microsoft Office software skills. Prior rodent research experiences preferred.
