Houseman in East Norwich, New York at Pine Hollow Club

Pine Hollow Club is seeking hardworking and dependable Housemen to support the daily operations, cleanliness, and setup needs across the Club for the 2026 season.

This is a physically active, hands-on role ideal for someone who likes to stay moving throughout the day and takes pride in helping a team operate smoothly behind the scenes. Housemen play an important role in supporting events, clubhouse operations, locker rooms, dining areas, and overall Club presentation.

• Move, set up, and break down tables, chairs, umbrellas, cabanas, and event equipment
• Assist with banquet and event setups throughout the property
• Support housekeeping and maintenance teams with heavier cleaning and operational tasks
• Remove trash, debris, and recycling throughout the Club
• Help maintain cleanliness and organization in storage and back-of-house areas
• Deliver supplies and materials to departments as needed
• Assist with locker room upkeep and replenishment
• Respond quickly to operational needs during busy service periods and Club events
• Support opening and closing responsibilities across Club operations

• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Ability to perform physical labor and lift/move equipment throughout the shift
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Hospitality, club, event setup, warehouse, facilities, or labor experience is helpful but not required
• Weekend and holiday availability preferred during the season

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, push, and move throughout extended shifts
• Comfortable with repetitive physical tasks and fast-paced environments
