Working cross-functionally with teams across product, analytics, operations, and growth, you will help develop scalable clinical solutions for health plans, providers, and healthcare organizations. You will serve as a trusted subject matter expert, supporting both program development and external client relationships while influencing key strategic decisions. - Lead the strategic vision and evolution of musculoskeletal and digital care management programs as the primary clinical subject matter expert.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including analytics, operations, product management, growth, and clinical strategy to design innovative clinical solutions.
- Utilize market intelligence, patient analytics, and healthcare trends to identify opportunities for new clinical programs and technology-enabled care pathways.
- Support research and evaluation initiatives related to clinical offerings, healthcare partnerships, and strategic vendor opportunities.
- Participate in implementation initiatives by guiding clinical decision frameworks, rule development, and utilization management strategies.
- Provide clinical expertise for specialty pharmacy and musculoskeletal program development, optimization, and client-facing discussions.
- Partner with growth and client experience teams to strengthen client relationships, address pain points, and support business expansion opportunities.
- Serve as a physician representative during prospective client meetings, presentations, and strategic healthcare discussions.
- Support strategic planning initiatives related to utilization management, medical policy development, and care optimization programs.
- Monitor the performance and effectiveness of launched clinical programs and contribute to ongoing process improvements and innovation efforts.
- Build strong internal and external partnerships while influencing healthcare stakeholders across multiple functions and organizations.
- Board-certified MD or DO with a current unrestricted U.S. medical license.
- Completion of a U.S.-based residency program; general medical or surgical training preferred.
- Minimum 5+ years of post-residency/fellowship clinical practice experience in Orthopedic Surgery, Spine Surgery, Pain Medicine, or Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
- 5+ years of experience in managed care, payer strategy, healthtech, healthcare consulting, or related clinical strategy environments.
- Demonstrated experience designing and implementing innovative clinical programs that improve healthcare value and outcomes.
- Strong understanding of utilization management, clinical policy development, and payer-provider healthcare operations.
- Proven ability to engage and influence healthcare clients, executive stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
- Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in highly collaborative, fast-paced, and evolving healthcare environments.
- Experience supporting payer-facing healthcare solutions and strategic client engagements preferred.
- MBA or advanced healthcare-related degree is considered a plus.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate clinical insights into scalable business and operational strategies.
- Willingness to travel approximately 25% as required.
