• Design and develop scalable cloud-native SaaS components and microservices supporting medical imaging workflows and AI-powered applications.
• Build and maintain APIs, integrations, and distributed systems for clinical trial platforms, imaging viewers, and healthcare applications.
• Develop AI/ML integration capabilities for medical image analysis, including deep learning, computer vision, and real-time image processing workflows.
• Implement DICOM-compliant pipelines, imaging preprocessing systems, and large-scale data management solutions for healthcare datasets.
• Contribute to architecture decisions involving scalability, serverless computing, observability, and high-availability cloud infrastructure.
• Ensure security, compliance, and data governance standards aligned with healthcare regulations such as FDA 21 CFR Part 11 and GxP requirements.
• Optimize platform performance, monitoring, caching strategies, and reliability for large-scale imaging and clinical operations.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, QA, and business teams to deliver high-quality technical solutions and continuous innovation initiatives.
• Participate in code reviews, technical mentoring, architectural discussions, and adoption of emerging technologies in healthcare AI and cloud computing.

Requirements:

• Strong professional experience in software engineering, preferably within healthcare, medical imaging, SaaS, or regulated technology environments.
• Expertise in backend development using technologies such as Java, Python, or C#, with experience designing scalable distributed systems.
• Solid experience building cloud-native applications and microservices architectures on modern cloud platforms.
• Hands-on experience integrating AI/ML solutions into production systems, ideally involving medical imaging or healthcare data workflows.
• Strong understanding of DICOM standards, PACS integrations, medical imaging protocols, and healthcare interoperability concepts such as HL7 FHIR.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs, GraphQL services, real-time communication systems, and large-scale data pipelines.
• Familiarity with containerization, serverless architectures, CI/CD practices, monitoring tools, and performance optimization techniques.
• Knowledge of healthcare compliance standards, security frameworks, encryption methods, and regulated software development practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary technical and clinical teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
